How Digital X-Rays Capture the Image
Digital dental X-rays are a modern form of dental radiography that uses an electronic sensor instead of traditional X-ray film. When the sensor captures an image, it sends it directly to a computer screen — typically within seconds.
Your dentist can then view, enlarge, and examine the image alongside what was found during your clinical dental exam.
